Depending on your nationality and destination, you will be required to produce the following documents:
- A valid identity card, for travel within the European Union and Switzerland.
- A valid passport, for all other destinations.
PASSENGERS UNDER THE AGE OF 18
In order to be authorized to travel, children under the age of 18 must be in possession of a valid passport.
If you are not in possession of the above documents, you may be refused access to your flight or entry to your country of destination. Always carry personal identification with you. Personal identification is also compulsory for infants and babies.
Since January 2014, French national identity cards are issued with a validity of 15 years.
The validity of cards issued between 2 January 2004 and 31 December 2013 is automatically extended by 10 years.
However, some countries do not acknowledge this extension. We therefore strongly advise that you travel with a valid passport to facilitate entry and visa formalities upon arriving in your country of destination.
