Aviation Museum

France’s first museum dedicated to private aviation

Espace Air Passion has 3,500 m2 of indoor collections devoted to light civil and military aircraft, sail planes, amateur aircraft building and model aircraft.

The history of aviation is told through some 40 aircraft and gliders, some of which are still in flyable condition today.

Visitors will also be able to see aircraft being restored and meet volunteer-craftsmen in the joinery, fibreglass and mechanics workshops.

Espace Air Passion is child-friendly – both small and older children can climb aboard two of the aircraft on display.

The museum also organises regular events for families such a special model aircraft meeting “Anjou Ailes Maquettes” at Easter and the arrival of Santa Claus by plane in December. During school holidays, fun, educational and hands-on workshops are held.
